Team Leader: Sales Contact Centre (Night Shift)

About the role

WNS Global Services is hiring a Sales Contact Centre Team Leader / Assistant Manager for its night shift in Cape Town. The role leads a team of inbound sales and service agents who help US-based customers sell their vehicles through inbound calls and an online platform. The team must meet client and internal targets (KPIs, CBBs and SLAs) in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive environment and culture with an engaged team focused on solving problems for internal and external customers.
• Lead, motivate, mentor, coach and develop a team of inbound sales and service agents.
• Ensure the team delivers against client and internal business deliverables (KPIs, CBBs and SLAs).

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent, with English and Mathematics.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering against client, customer and business outcomes.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience in a fast-paced inbound or outbound sales and service contact centre.
• Preferred: experience managing omnichannel customer operations, 3+ years in a BPO contact centre, and experience with international customers.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 2pm to 11pm, five days a week, including public holidays.
