Tax Transformation Junior Solutions Architect

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Junior Solutions Architect to support the Tax & Legal transformation agenda in Johannesburg. You will work closely with tax subject‑matter experts, technology and data teams to design and deliver enterprise‑grade solutions that improve compliance, data quality and automation across tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing solution architectures for various tax domains such as indirect tax, employee tax, customs, corporate tax and transfer pricing.
• Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams and solution roadmaps covering application, data, integration, automation, cloud infrastructure and security layers.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to KPMG’s enterprise architecture standards, security requirements and technology governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate tax requirements into scalable, digital solutions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in technology and tax transformation.
• Ability to blend technical design expertise with a basic understanding of tax processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
