Tax Specialist: Projects & Administration

About the role

Super Group is seeking a Tax Specialist to support its Projects & Administration function. You will help ensure the company meets its tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions, covering corporate, indirect and gaming taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quarterly calculation of direct taxes and ensure timely, accurate reporting of corporate income taxes.
• Work with Tax Compliance Specialists to calculate and report indirect taxes such as VAT, gaming tax, withholding tax, reverse VAT, excise tax and other levies.
• Prepare and file periodic indirect, gaming and operational tax returns for all relevant entities.
• Maintain tax profiles on revenue authority portals and keep the tax compliance calendar up to date.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, investigate anomalies and ensure ongoing compliance with local laws.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate, indirect and gaming taxes.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Proactive attitude toward monitoring legislative changes and addressing compliance issues.

Required skills

• Experience preparing tax calculations and tax returns.
• Familiarity with indirect tax concepts such as VAT, gaming tax, withholding tax and excise duties.
• Ability to work with tax compliance teams and support audit processes.
