About the role
Super Group Africa is seeking a Tax Specialist to support tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will assist in preparing tax calculations, filing returns, and monitoring legislative changes to ensure the company meets its obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in quarterly calculation of direct taxes and ensure timely reporting.
- Support the calculation and filing of indirect taxes such as VAT, gaming tax, withholding tax, excise tax and related levies.
- Submit periodic operational tax returns for all relevant entities and maintain tax profiles on revenue authority portals.
- Help manage the tax compliance calendar and ensure deadlines for filings and payments are met.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation, investigate anomalies, and keep the team updated on regulatory developments.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Tax Compliance Specialists.
- Proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to new tax regulations.
Required skills
- Tax compliance and calculation.
- Knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, gaming tax, withholding tax, excise tax and related levies.
- Experience with filing indirect and operational tax returns.
- Familiarity with tax authority portals and compliance calendars.
