Tax Manager

About the role

This is a hands‑on global tax position supporting a Johannesburg‑based group on international and cross‑border tax matters. The role sits within a lean team where every member is actively involved in day‑to‑day operational and compliance work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global tax compliance and reporting for the group.
• Handle international and cross‑border tax issues, including permanent establishment and transfer pricing.
• Prepare tax computations, tax accounting entries and deferred tax schedules.
• Oversee Pillar Two / GloBE and Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CBCR) requirements.
• Support BEPS initiatives and multi‑jurisdiction tax compliance.
• Participate in wider global tax projects and advisory work.

Required profile

• Recently promoted to Manager level or progressing towards it.
• Strong technical tax skills with a hands‑on approach.
• Experience beyond South African tax compliance, including international or multinational exposure.
• Big Four tax experience preferred.
• BCom Accounting or BCom Taxation with at least 5 years of tax experience.
