Targeted Group Development Coordinator – Mentor

About the role

The Targeted Group Development Coordinator (Mentor) will support targeted enterprises involved in high‑value road construction and routine road maintenance projects. Working closely with the Construction Manager, you will help establish training programmes, quality systems and ensure compliance with subcontract obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch a Targeted Enterprise Training and Support Programme.
• Assist enterprises in implementing quality‑assurance systems.
• Provide training, coaching, guidance and mentoring to targeted enterprises.
• Support enterprises to meet subcontract commitments and obligations.
• Capture monthly ITIS data as required.
• Help achieve CPG objectives and support the Construction Manager when needed.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6) or higher degree.
• Experience on at least three SANRAL road construction or RRM projects valued at R80 million + (incl. VAT).
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Excellent written communication and assertive interpersonal skills.
• Pro‑active, able to work independently and demonstrate loyalty.
