Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365 / Azure / Windows Server)

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join a high‑performing team that delivers technology services to managed‑services clients. The role focuses on providing expert technical support, proactive infrastructure management, and trusted advisory services for Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients, taking ownership of incidents and service requests from logging to resolution.
• Install, configure, maintain and support client hardware, operating systems, cloud services and applications.
• Monitor infrastructure to maximise availability, security and performance, adhering to agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Perform routine maintenance including OS and firmware updates, patch management and health checks.
• Maintain backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity solutions.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices across managed environments.
• Document actions, communicate clearly with clients and share knowledge with colleagues.
