Systems Administrator – Fleet & Operations

About the role

The company is looking for a junior, organised individual to support the administration of its fleet, driver and operational information. This is not a traditional IT infrastructure role; it centres on keeping data accurate across operational systems, extracting information and producing reports that enable effective fleet and transport management.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain business partners, units, sites and rate cards in the Cella database.
• Enter, update and remove driver and vehicle records, ensuring all information is current and correct.
• Track Certificate of Fitness (COF) expiry dates, flag upcoming expiries and highlight data gaps.
• Extract fleet and operational data from vehicle‑tracking systems and compile regular reports on fuel usage, driver hours, overtime, vehicle utilisation, inspections and route scanning.
• Review extracted data for accuracy, maintain supporting documentation and provide ad‑hoc reports as required.
• Identify and correct incomplete or outdated system information and assist with general system administration.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate comfortable working with data and systems.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and support operational teams.
