Supply Chain and Stock Controller

About the role

The Supply Chain and Stock Controller will ensure fuel is sourced, allocated and delivered efficiently across the business. This role supports internal depots and external customers, maintaining a smooth flow of product throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Process and place customer orders received from customers and sales representatives.
• Secure product from suppliers and ensure availability to meet customer demand.
• Resolve supply‑related issues at loading points and assist transporters with operational challenges.
• Manage product allocations and prioritisation during periods of supply shortages.
• Monitor and balance stock across the group to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Reconcile supplier loadings against sales and invoices to confirm correct accounting of each load.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels at internal depots to support customer requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply efficiency, stock utilisation and customer service levels.
• Report on volumes from clients, suppliers and perform general administration tasks.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant supply chain or stock control experience.
• Exposure to the petroleum industry is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent multitasking, communication and decision‑making skills.
