Supply Chain Administrator

About the role

The Supply Chain Administrator supports the Procurement & Logistics function by managing product data on the ERP system, processing purchase orders, and tracking shipments from order through to delivery. The role also assists with import/export documentation, clearing and distribution coordination, and keeps the business updated on stock movements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, load, and maintain SKU and product data on the ERP system, ensuring pricing, specifications and supplier details are accurate.
• Load and process purchase orders, reconcile invoices and support finance sign‑off.
• Assist with import and export documentation, request clearing and distribution cost estimates, and liaise with suppliers and clearing agents.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, update logistics records and communicate shipment status to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized document management for purchase orders, shipping documents, customs paperwork and supplier correspondence.
• Compile regular reports on procurement, shipment and stock status and support month‑end reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience in an administrative role, preferably within procurement or logistics.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Energetic, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure while prioritising tasks.
• Matric or equivalent qualification.
