About the role

Spotify’s Internship Program offers students a chance to work on real projects that shape the music‑streaming experience for millions of users. Interns join cross‑functional teams in Cape Town and contribute to product development, data analysis, marketing, and design.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on ongoing projects and product development.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and generate insights for decision‑making.
• Contribute to product features through coding, testing, and debugging.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to propose innovative solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Support marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns and content creation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree (e.g., computer science, business, marketing, design, data analytics).
• Passionate about music, technology, and digital media.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and proactive mindset.
• Knowledge of music streaming platforms, digital marketing, UX design, or data analytics is a plus.
