About the role

Join Capitec Business Bank’s Strategic Projects & Business Optimisation team and work directly with senior executives to shape the future of business banking in South Africa. You will be responsible for turning strategic ideas into measurable outcomes, influencing decisions at the EXCO level, and driving growth initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects that support the bank’s long‑term objectives.
• Develop business cases, growth strategies and innovative solutions for new opportunities.
• Provide rigorous analysis and insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Build financial models to evaluate partnerships, acquisitions and new business ventures.
• Identify efficiency improvements and optimisation initiatives across the bank.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to the execution of high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• Honours degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a management consulting environment or a CA(SA) qualification with 2 + years post‑articles experience.
• Strong analytical capability combined with commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems and influence senior leaders.
