Strategic Account Manager – up to R1M salary (On‑site)

About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join a high‑performing sales team. You will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts across public and private sectors, delivering tailored solutions that create real value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic, high‑potential customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive incremental sales growth.
• Create and execute account‑management plans.
• Engage decision‑makers to understand needs and present customised solutions.
• Negotiate purchasing agreements and commercial terms.
• Lead customer meetings, sales presentations and strategic discussions.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow best‑practice account management.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Completed degree or diploma in Business or Management.
• Proven experience in strategic account management, business development or B2B sales.
• Willingness to travel to AME regions quarterly; valid passport required.
• Experience handling equipment finance applications and coordinating with banking partners.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to build long‑term relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Strategic thinker with solid planning and organisational capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
