Stores Clerk – Tool Room (Full‑Time)

About the role

Buscor (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Stores Clerk to manage the tool room at its Malelane depot. The role involves controlling inventory, issuing tools to workshop staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the automotive tools environment.

Key responsibilities

• Book out tools to workshop personnel using the HILTI Stock Control System.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes.
• Distribute, maintain, and keep the tool room organized and clean.
• Inspect tools for wear or defects and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Assist in purchasing and repairing tool room equipment.
• Support overtime requirements as needed.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with a stock control or procurement certificate.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an automotive tools setting.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Clean criminal record, traceable references, and medically fit.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience with stock control software, preferably the HILTI Stock Control System.
