Stores Clerk – Automotive Parts

About the role
The Stores Clerk will manage the day‑to‑day inventory operations for the automotive parts department at our Nelspruit store. You will be responsible for issuing spares, processing purchase orders and ensuring accurate receipt and storage of goods.
Key responsibilities
- Issue and check out automotive spares over the counter.
- Generate purchase orders, receive deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Perform physical receipt of purchases, organise stock and maintain store housekeeping.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Formal training or qualifications in stock control or procurement.
- Minimum three years’ experience in an automotive parts environment.
- Strong administration and communication abilities.
- Clean criminal record, traceable references, medically fit and a valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with stock control software such as Syspro.
- Familiarity with MP2 inventory system.
