Store Trainer

About the role

The Store Trainer partners with retail management to onboard new associates, deliver ongoing training, and ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations. This role supports a friendly, customer‑focused store environment while tracking partner progress and recommending development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑boarding sessions and introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, culture, and people.
• Collaborate with store management to identify training needs and schedule required modules.
• Deliver classroom and on‑the‑job training covering checkout operations, safety, and compliance topics.
• Monitor and report partner progress, providing feedback to management.
• Assist partners with position‑specific challenges and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.

Required profile

• Intermediate understanding of company checkout policies and procedures.
• Intermediate knowledge of state laws governing the sale of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with front‑end partners.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
