About the role

We are seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead our Hydraulics retail outlet in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring the store operates smoothly on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and oversee team performance.
• Drive sales, service standards, and overall customer experience.
• Manage, motivate, and develop the store team.
• Monitor store targets, KPIs, and performance reports.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Support stock control, replenishment, and stock accuracy.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Coach team members and support their development.
• Lead by example in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in clothing retail.
• Passionate about high‑end fashion and current trends.
• Excellent communication and strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident in managing teams and developing talent.
• Ability to use retail metrics to report on store performance.
