Store Manager

About the role

ACDC Express is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role combines hands‑on leadership with commercial acumen to uphold brand standards and achieve financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including housekeeping, merchandising, stock control and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Monitor budgets, analyse sales performance, prepare financial reports and control costs.
• Drive sales, achieve store targets and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Lead, motivate and develop the store team through scheduling, coaching, performance management and training.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager, Franchise Service Consultant, Marketing and HR on promotional activities and employee matters.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent; business or retail qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years retail experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Financial and business management experience.
• Valid driver’s licence, own transport and clear criminal/credit record.
• South African citizenship or valid work permit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with payroll software.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
