Store Manager – Future Opportunities

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance through KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual standards.
• Achieve sales targets while controlling expenses and managing stock losses to keep shrinkage within company limits.
• Ensure operational excellence with a customer‑centric approach, implementing merchandising strategies and maintaining visual standards.
• Recruit, train, develop and manage store staff, including performance management and employee relations.
• Create effective team schedules, allocate time efficiently and motivate the team to maintain high commitment levels.
• Manage risk, compliance and store budgets, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12/Matric certificate; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum three years of retail store management experience.
• Proven experience in recruitment, staff development, performance management and driving sales profitability.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
