Store Manager – Automotive Retail

About the role
We are seeking a Retail Store Manager for an automotive parts store. The role is responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring profitability, meeting sales targets and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and drive sales.
- Manage inventory, approve contracts, set pricing policies and oversee merchandising and promotional activities.
- Ensure store security, health and safety standards, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, schedule and evaluate staff performance, conduct appraisals and coordinate training and development.
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, contribute to budgeting and report variances.
Required profile
- Diploma in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing (NQF 6); a Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years retail sales or marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Background in automotive parts, hardware, batteries or a similar sector.
