Store Manager – 45 hrs/week – Sportscene Bellville

About the role
The Store Manager will lead the Sportscene store in Bellville, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time role focuses on achieving turnover targets, controlling expenses, and maintaining store standards.
Key responsibilities
- Drive turnover to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Control expenses and manage budget adherence.
- Monitor stock losses and ensure shrinkage aligns with company standards.
- Recruit, develop, and manage store staff, handling performance and employee relations.
- Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in line with the company’s strategy.
Required profile
- Matric certificate (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage people, budgets and store operations.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and merchandising execution.
