Store Manager (45 hrs) – American Swiss – Tygervalley

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the American Swiss boutique in Tygervalley, overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time position (45 hours per week) reports to regional management and is responsible for meeting turnover targets while maintaining cost control and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover to achieve sales targets and manage expense control.
• Monitor and limit stock losses, ensuring shrinkage aligns with company standards.
• Recruit, develop, and manage staff, handling performance management and employee relations.
• Implement in‑store merchandising strategies and uphold visual standards.
• Deliver the customer service strategy to guarantee high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyse sales data and adjust strategies to optimise performance.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum three years retail experience, including at least one year in a store leadership role.
• Action‑oriented mindset with the ability to take on new challenges urgently.
• Proven ability to build networks and nurture internal and external relationships.
• Strong customer focus, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
• Capability to direct, organise and motivate a team to exceed expectations.
• Commitment to accountability and continuous optimisation of work processes.
