Store Leader

About the role

The Store Leader is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while driving sales and profitability in a wellness retail environment. You will lead a team of associates, ensure operational excellence, and implement strategies that improve stock accuracy and reduce waste.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer interactions, resolve complaints and fulfill requests to maintain high service standards.
• Optimize the selling space, drive replenishment, and ensure product availability.
• Conduct floor walks to enforce housekeeping and store discipline standards.
• Achieve sales targets, improve gross profit, and control controllable expenses in line with budgets.
• Interpret income statements, develop action plans, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Maintain effective stock control, cash handling procedures, and risk management practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to foster a performance‑driven culture.
• Ensure monthly audit benchmarks are met and continuously improve store productivity.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of wellness retail experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Completion of Wellness Foundation and Managerial training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Own transport is essential.
