Stock Controller & Restaurant Administrator

About the role

This position supports a busy daytime restaurant and café in Rosebank, handling both inventory management and general administrative duties. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, assist with food preparation, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive stock deliveries, generate GRVs and record inventory.
• Issue stock meticulously and maintain par levels.
• Pack stock, rotate inventory and perform regular stock counts.
• Prepare daily food and beverage consumption reports.
• Order food and beverage supplies and supervise deliveries.
• Reconcile monthly food costs and support cost control.
• Carry out routine administrative tasks and complete forms/checklists.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or a formal qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar restaurant environment.
• Experience with stock control, rotation, ordering and procurement.
• Sound health and hygiene knowledge or qualifications.
• Ability to assist with basic food preparation.
