Specialist Technical Lead (Specialist Developers/Programmers)

About the role

Future Work Recruitment is supporting a client headquartered in South Africa that is seeking a Specialist Technical Lead for specialist developers and programmers. The role will lead major distribution network builds that use cutting‑edge delivery technologies and will be hands‑on in a fast‑growing environment with strong resources and support.

Required profile

• Project management experience of more than 6 years
• Web development experience of over 8 years
• Object‑oriented programming experience of at least 8 years
• Strong debugging skills with 6+ years of practice
• Application development framework and methodology experience (minimum 36 months)
• API development experience (e.g., Fiddler) for at least 24 months
• Experience with mobile/public‑facing application platforms and security (advantage)

Required skills

• VB.NET, ASP.NET and C# (minimum 6 years)
• .NET Framework 3 or higher (minimum 6 years)
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or newer (minimum 6 years)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or newer and stored procedures (minimum 6 years)
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (minimum 24 months)
• Reporting Services 2012 or newer (minimum 24 months)
• Microsoft IIS (minimum 6 years)
• Microsoft Enterprise Library (minimum 12 months)
• Microsoft Patterns and Practices (minimum 12 months)
• HTML5 (minimum 36 months)
• Java and JavaScript (minimum 48 months)
• XML (minimum 36 months)
• Xamarin (advantage)
• Kotlin (advantage)
