Specialist Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Cybersecurity Consultant to join our fast‑growing consultancy in Johannesburg. You will work with enterprise clients across multiple industries, helping them strengthen their cyber resilience through assessments, implementation projects, and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity risk, vulnerability and security posture assessments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Support incident response, digital forensics and cyber investigations.
• Implement and maintain enterprise security solutions across network, endpoint, cloud and infrastructure.
• Review and improve security architecture and controls.
• Produce professional technical reports with practical remediation recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security or IT Security.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with proven client‑facing experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within technical teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
