Solution Architect

About the role

Exxaro Resources is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to become part of the Grootgeluk Coal team in Lephalale, Limpopo. The role focuses on designing and delivering architectural solutions that support business goals, align with emerging technology trends and meet data‑governance and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of innovative ICT architectural designs for mining operations.
• Ensure solutions comply with data governance policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to optimise the overall technology landscape.
• Drive innovation by integrating advanced data‑analytics capabilities into business processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable senior technical role.
• Strong understanding of ICT architecture within the mining or heavy‑industry sector.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
