Solution Architect (Cloud)

About the role

RedM Professional Services is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of its enterprise cloud strategy. The role will ensure cloud platforms are secure, scalable, cost‑effective and aligned with business objectives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, reference models and adoption roadmaps.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services to meet current and future needs.
• Design secure, highly available and resilient cloud solutions for application modernisation, data platforms, AI and digital initiatives.
• Guide migration of applications, data and infrastructure from on‑premise to cloud environments.
• Implement cloud governance, security controls, identity and access management, encryption and network security.
• Drive cloud operational excellence through automation, monitoring, observability and FinOps cost‑optimisation.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners and engineering teams, presenting architecture strategies to senior management.
• Mentor solution architects and technical teams on cloud best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (post‑graduate qualification advantageous).
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, risk, compliance and governance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
