Software Project Manager – Agile & Telecom Focus

About the role

Our client, a leading FNO and telecom provider based in Plattekloof, Cape Town, is seeking a mid‑level Software Project Manager to lead multiple development initiatives. You will act as the Scrum Master, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate software development projects from initiation through delivery, using Agile and Scrum practices.
• Conduct Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and scope changes, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track progress and remove blockers using Notion as the primary project‑management tool.
• Lead post‑project evaluations and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Software Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage several software projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced, changing environments.
