Software Engineer, Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global leader in technology, influencing architecture and driving innovation in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate micro‑platforms that are scalable, performant and reliable.
• Implement and optimise backend services using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring and observability.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Go, Python, Java (or similar).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
