Software Engineer – E‑Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software Engineer to join a global technology leader in the e‑commerce space. The position is fully remote and focuses on building scalable backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in a distributed environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑tested code following industry best practices.
• Profile and debug systems, applying algorithmic improvements to boost performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional remote team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
