Soft Services Coordinator – Facilities Management

About the role

A Soft Services Coordinator ensures efficient operations of all FM soft services such as cleaning, catering and waste management. The role reviews soft‑service contracts, drives providers to meet contractual goals and maintains strong relationships with service providers while ensuring SLA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee service level agreements through regular site inspections and performance scorecards.
• Drive continuous improvement by planning and implementing new initiatives to raise service expectations.
• Facilitate quarterly planning sessions with vendors to enhance service delivery.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings with service providers and internal clients (Factories & DCs).
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets and implement cost‑containment strategies.
• Approve and oversee equipment installations and ensure hygiene compliance.
• Resolve issues raised via Archibus and manage TFG‑owned soft services assets.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–5 years of soft services experience in a facilities management environment.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
