Site Supervisor – Hygiene Team

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead the hygiene team to ensure the site meets strict food‑safety and cleanliness standards. This role is responsible for safe equipment use, chemical handling, and overall site safety while delivering daily operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hygiene team to produce a food‑safe site each day.
• Control budgeted man‑hours and purchases for the section.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment in line with statutory safety regulations.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate individual and team performance.
• Oversee all operational activities, including problem solving and incident resolution.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, meet expectations, and minimise plant damage and downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising hygiene or food‑safety teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Ability to train staff on safe equipment and chemical usage.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
