Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing fintech company, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join its engineering team. You will work on customer‑facing platforms that run at scale, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and high‑performing in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve highly available, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Enhance observability through metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
• Improve incident response, root‑cause analysis, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks.
• Optimise CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps.
• Develop automation and tooling with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to boost scalability, resilience, and performance of cloud‑native applications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform or cloud engineering.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience supporting production workloads on Microsoft Azure (or a comparable cloud platform).
• Strong background with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Datadog, or similar.
• Proficient scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable languages.
• Experience with cloud‑native, distributed, or microservices‑based environments.
