Site Agent

About the role

The Site Agent is a core member of the CTICC project team, supporting the delivery of building development projects of varying size and complexity. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role combines administrative support, on‑site coordination and project close‑out activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with quotations, order processing and invoice handling for capital works projects.
• Gather tender information, perform checks, and prepare bill of quantities for RFQ processes.
• Support pre‑tender preparation and evaluate tenders to appoint suitable bidders.
• Identify and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Organise meetings, record minutes and conduct site inspections.
• Supervise administrative and technical tasks on‑site, including setting out works.
• Prepare event schedules, monitor contractor progress and ensure no disruption to CTICC events.
• Capture site data, draft progress reports, manage snagging and assist in project hand‑over.
• Track building damages, investigate causes, coordinate repairs and report to management.
• Assist with health, safety and security matters for capital works and event‑related projects.

Required profile

• Higher Certificate in Construction or Built Environment (NQF Level 5) or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, project principles and implementation.
• Organised, structured approach with ability to manage multiple administrative and technical tasks.
