Showroom Manager – Fourways, Johannesburg

About the role

Hertex Fabrics is seeking an energetic Showroom Manager to lead its upscale Fourways showroom in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for creating an inviting environment, driving sales, and ensuring the showroom operates smoothly while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed showroom sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Oversee daily showroom operations, including inventory control and cash handling.
• Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales staff, fostering a positive work culture.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports and manage administrative tasks related to the showroom.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate; tertiary qualification in a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
• At least 2 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong interest in décor, homeware, and interior design.
• Dynamic, outgoing, highly motivated, loyal, and committed.
