SharePoint Developer – 12‑month on‑site role

About the role

Our client in Pretoria is looking for a SharePoint Developer for a 12‑month on‑site assignment. The role focuses on developing, configuring, supporting and maintaining SharePoint on‑premises solutions, especially SharePoint Server 2019/SE and the latest on‑prem platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and support SharePoint on‑premises solutions across SharePoint Server 2016, 2019 and newer platforms.
• Build and maintain sites, site collections, document libraries, lists, content types, metadata, permissions and document‑management structures.
• Create and maintain custom web parts, forms, pages, scripts and other solution components.
• Design, develop and support Power Automate and legacy workflow solutions to automate business processes.
• Support integration between SharePoint and related business applications.
• Troubleshoot platform, security, permissions, workflow and user support issues.
• Implement governance, information architecture, security controls and records‑management practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, including architecture overviews and solution designs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint development, configuration, support and solution delivery.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SharePoint on‑premises, particularly SharePoint Server 2019/SE.
• Proven ability to develop Power Automate workflows and on‑premises workflow automation.
• Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field; Microsoft certification preferred.
