Server Administrator II

About the role

FNB is looking for a Server Administrator II to join a dynamic team that supports both Windows and Linux environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers that power critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide server expertise, advice, and support to develop and enhance operational implementation plans.
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows and Linux servers connected to a SAN environment, managing both physical and virtual instances.
• Handle hardware and software asset management, OS and application upgrades, and ensure compliance with security policies and audit standards.
• Perform UAT setup, testing, and technical maintenance while managing system alerts and escalations.
• Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for server availability across DR, Training, Production, UAT, and Development environments.
• Collaborate with end‑users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff to gather requirements and deliver proactive solutions.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, change‑management procedures, and governance requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
• 3‑5 years of experience using Ansible for automation.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining YAML configuration files.
