SEO Lead – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded SEO Lead to own and execute our organic growth strategy. This remote, hands‑on position blends strategic thinking with strong execution across technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword strategy, and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the SEO roadmap aligned with business growth goals, identifying opportunities to increase traffic, rankings and conversions.
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, work with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals and structured‑data issues.
• Perform in‑depth keyword research, create SEO‑driven content briefs and optimise existing pages to improve rankings and user engagement.
• Improve metadata, headings, internal linking and overall on‑page optimisation to boost topical authority and crawl efficiency.
• Support backlink acquisition, monitor backlink profiles and collaborate on outreach initiatives to enhance domain authority.
• Track SEO performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush and Screaming Frog, producing regular reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
• Commercial mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience collaborating cross‑functionally with content, development and marketing teams.
