SEO Backlink Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Backlink Expert to join our client’s off‑site SEO team. The role focuses on acquiring high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks and brand mentions for dental and healthcare clients, using strategic outreach and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Secure high‑quality backlinks and brand mentions on authoritative websites with genuine organic traffic.
• Conduct outreach to publishers, editors, bloggers, and website owners to build long‑term relationships.
• Execute targeted outreach campaigns for editorial placements, resource pages, guides, comparison pages, and other relevant content.
• Negotiate placement opportunities, pricing, and partnership terms with publishers.
• Evaluate websites based on relevance, authority, traffic quality, indexing, and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align link‑building campaigns with overall organic growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, placements, and campaign performance for reporting.
• Prioritize quality, topical relevance, and natural editorial placements over link volume.
• Stay up to date with white‑hat link‑building best practices and industry trends.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in link building, blogger outreach, digital PR, or editorial outreach.
• Proven track record of securing high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks through manual outreach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with confidence in negotiating placements.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
• Experience working in a digital marketing agency, preferably serving U.S. clients.
• Experience in the healthcare niche is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Search Atlas, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with preferred locations in Latin America or South Africa.
• Salary range USD 1,200 – USD 1,700 per month, plus performance bonuses.
