Senior UI/UX & Graphic Designer (Remote)

About the role

LayUp Technologies is seeking a Senior UI/UX & Graphic Designer to lead visual and user‑experience design across its fintech ecosystem. The role is fully remote, allowing you to shape consumer and merchant‑facing products, brand identity, and marketing communications from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine UI for mobile apps and web dashboards in Figma, ensuring pixel‑perfect execution and WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Own the visual evolution of LayUp’s brand, including the corporate website and all digital properties.
• Create high‑impact presentation decks for board meetings, investor pitches, and strategic sessions.
• Develop social‑media assets and campaign graphics for LinkedIn and Instagram aligned with business objectives.
• Produce motion graphics and animations for campaigns, explainer videos, and product demos.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries in Figma.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and founders to translate strategy into cohesive UX and visual outputs.
• Communicate design decisions, trade‑offs, and rationale clearly in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Figma, including design‑system creation.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Motion‑graphics expertise using After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Deep understanding of information architecture, accessibility (WCAG), usability testing, and iterative design.
