Senior UI Engineer

About the role

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will design and build intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces for Sedna's web and desktop applications, including 3D visualization and signal‑processing tools used across Sedna's automation and robotics deployments. You will work closely with backend engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and visually polished software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high‑performance UI for web and desktop applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Build responsive, accessible UI components and design systems, and contribute to 3D visualization interfaces using tools like Godot, OpenGL or Unity.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (OAuth) and apply cybersecurity best practices in the front‑end.
• Integrate with Web APIs to enable service communication and collaborate with backend and QA teams for testing and deployment.
• Translate wireframes and mock‑ups into polished interfaces, champion consistent design patterns, and optimise UI performance across browsers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of UI/frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience building and consuming Web APIs and implementing OAuth authentication.
• Knowledge of 3D frameworks/libraries (e.g., OpenGL, Unity, Godot) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes is a plus.
