About the role
Ozow is a forward‑thinking fintech company looking for a seasoned Senior Test Engineer to join its dynamic team in Cape Town. You will help ensure the quality and reliability of the company’s applications while working in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans within an agile framework.
- Oversee testing from feature inception to release, validating each stage.
- Translate functional requirements into detailed test cases and automate manual tests.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including reports and validation protocols.
- Conduct acceptance, regression, functional, stress, load and performance testing.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of professional software testing experience.
- Proven expertise with tools such as SoapUI, Selenium and JMeter.
- Strong experience working in Scrum‑based agile teams.
- Exposure to load and performance testing.
- ISEB or ISTQB Foundation Certification and a relevant IT diploma or degree.
