Senior Tax Compliance Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Associate to deliver high‑quality tax compliance services to its South African clients. You will work within a collaborative audit and assurance team, ensuring tax filings and related tasks are completed efficiently, professionally, and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end tax compliance services, including preparation and review of tax returns.
• Interpret South African tax legislation and apply PwC tax guidance to client engagements.
• Maintain professional and technical standards, adhering to the firm’s code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Collaborate with audit teams to assess financial statements for tax implications.
• Deliver insights and recommendations based on data analysis and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in tax compliance.
• Relevant South African degree or diploma with Taxation as a core module.
• Registered Tax Technician or Tax Professional (SAIT) certification.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.

Required skills
