Senior Stock Accountant (FN 135)

About the role

Our client, a respected technology and security service provider, is seeking a Senior Stock Accountant to manage inventory accounting across multiple branches and business units. The role focuses on accurate inventory valuation, reconciliation, and supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts for all locations.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation, including landed cost allocations for imported stock.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between ERP/WMS systems and the General Ledger.
• Investigate and resolve stock variances, discrepancies, and related financial issues.
• Review stock adjustments, write‑offs, obsolete stock provisions, and inventory ageing.
• Oversee cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory control processes.
• Monitor stock accuracy, shrinkage, and performance, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, financial governance, and audit requirements.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyses for management.
• Support month‑end, year‑end, and audit activities related to inventory.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve controls and reporting.
• Ensure accurate intercompany inventory transactions and multi‑currency stock balances.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in inventory or stock accounting.
• Proven ability to manage inventory reconciliations across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate variances and financial discrepancies.
• Experience preparing inventory reports for management and audit purposes.
