Senior Specialist – Cyber Security

About the role

Cell C is looking for a seasoned Senior Specialist in Cyber Security to protect our digital ecosystem. You will design, implement and evolve security solutions that safeguard our network, systems and critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive cyber‑security strategy and governance across the organisation.
• Design, implement and maintain security architecture aligned with industry standards.
• Monitor emerging threats and industry trends to keep solutions up‑to‑date.
• Identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities in network and enterprise environments.
• Establish real‑time monitoring, incident detection and response procedures.
• Analyse historical logs for patterns indicative of attacks.
• Lead threat‑intelligence and defence initiatives.
• Plan, oversee and architect security projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber‑security, preferably within a telecom or large‑scale digital environment.
• Strong passion for detecting and preventing security threats.
• Ability to collaborate with operational teams and influence security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to champion security awareness across business units.
