Senior Solution Architect

About the role

The Senior Solution Architect will translate complex business needs into clear, innovative, and sustainable technical designs that align with Vitality’s strategic vision. You will act as the bridge between business strategy and application architecture, ensuring solutions are purpose‑led, future‑ready, and deliver lasting value across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret detailed Business Requirements Specifications to ensure alignment with current and future ICT capabilities.
• Contribute to technology investment strategy by supporting enterprise architecture development and ensuring maximum ROI.
• Design technology solutions that fit the enterprise architecture roadmap and meet operational objectives.
• Develop, test, and implement solutions while reporting on delivery commitments and timelines.
• Ensure all solution architectures adhere to enterprise standards, governance, and budget constraints.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Strong background in systems architecture and development with the ability to translate detailed business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks and adhering to architectural roadmaps.
• Proven ability to manage complex system interdependencies, budgets, and timelines.
• Effective communicator who can present ideas to senior leadership and navigate evolving market, regulatory, and organisational challenges.

Required skills

• TOGAF certification (or equivalent enterprise architecture knowledge).
• Cloud architecture expertise.
• Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
