Senior Software Developer: Java, Spring Boot, OSGi, Maven

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality backend services. The role will focus on creating resilient micro‑services using Java and Spring Boot while leveraging managed cloud services to minimise operational overhead.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain micro‑services with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Define and document RESTful and gRPC APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Create and optimise database schemas for relational (Cloud SQL) and NoSQL stores.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Cloud Build.
• Lead code reviews, establish best‑practice guidelines and mentor junior developers.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues, including JVM tuning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years developing cloud‑native applications.
• Proven ability to design distributed systems handling high concurrency.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in distributed environments.
