Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Observability & Incident Response)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own observability, reliability and incident response for our high‑availability platforms. You will work closely with engineering, product and support teams to keep customer‑facing services resilient and measurable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the observability platform (dashboards, alerts, metrics, logs, distributed tracing).
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs and error budgets in partnership with engineering teams.
• Lead production incidents from triage through recovery, coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Produce blameless post‑incident reviews and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor and optimise Azure‑based infrastructure for reliability, capacity and cost.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, release monitoring and rollback strategies to improve deployment reliability.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and ensure new services are production‑ready with proper monitoring and runbooks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations or similar.
• Proven track record of managing observability and leading high‑severity incidents.
• Strong operational leadership and ability to work across multiple teams.
