Senior Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to lead our vulnerability management and security automation initiatives. The role will involve scripting, testing, and maintaining secure configurations across Windows and cloud environments while supporting our clients as a managed service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PowerShell and other scripts to automate patching, configuration, and remediation tasks.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, manage remediation workflows, and ensure timely patch deployment.
• Configure and monitor servers on-premise and in Azure, applying security baselines and GPOs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand security requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Operate and integrate security tools such as Covelo, KnowBe4, LogicMonitor, ConnectWise Automate, Umbrella, and SIEM platforms.
• Document processes, produce reports, and provide guidance on best practices for cybersecurity.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a system administrator with strong scripting abilities.
• Hands‑on experience in vulnerability testing, patch management, and security configuration.
• Background in information technology, including server configuration and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and client‑facing environments.
• Current cybersecurity certifications or a clear path to obtain them.
